Cubbing is so much fun because we learn new things every week.
SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
The best experience was making pizza and cleaning Muizenberg beach.
SSA: What is the weirdest thing you ate outdoors?
The weirdest thing I ate outdoors was roasted banana with marshmallows inside.
SSA: What was the toughest challenge at Cubs?
The toughest challenge was the Polar Bear challenge and finishing the hike down Silver Mine.
SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
The most amazing place we visited was the domestic animal rescue group in Hout Bay.
SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
I learnt to do good things to other people, tying knots and how to care about the environment.
SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
We made soup for the old-age home and also Christmas gift packets for people with less money.
SSA: What did you teach your mum that you learned at Cubs?
I taught my mum how to make an ocean diorama.
SSA: What makes a good Akela?
A good Akela is someone who cares about others.
SSA: Why is your Akela special?
My Akela is special because she is funny, patient, kind and awesome.
