SSA: Why is Cubbing so much fun?
Cubbing is so much fun as you get to learn new things such as knots, general knowledge and games. You also get to meet new people.
SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
My best experience with Cubs was going on the Link Badge Camp to Appleton on Signal Hill.
SSA: What is the weirdest thing you ate outdoors?
The weirdest thing that I have eaten outdoors is cow tongue – I only took one bite and spat it out straight away!
SSA: What was the toughest challenge at Cubs?
The toughest challenge at Cubs was the gross food challenge when I ate cow tongue.
SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
The most amazing place that I have visited with Cubs is Du Toitskloof.
SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
Some things that I have learnt by being a Cub are knots, Kim’s Game and lots of general knowledge.
SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
Last year we did a beach clean-up at Melkbosstrand.
SSA: What did you teach your mum that you learned at Cubs?
I have taught my mom how to do a reef knot and also taught her how to play chess when I was doing my Chess Badge.
SSA: What makes a good Akela?
A good Akela is someone that can be respected, that is a good leader and that doesn’t make you work the whole time but lets you have some downtime.
SSA: Why is your Akela special?
My Akela is special as she gives us some free time to play games.
