SSA: Why is Cubbing so much fun?
Cubbing is so much fun because I get to go on camps, I learn a lot, I can play with my friends and we do fun activities.
SSA: What was your best experience with Cubs?
The best experience was going out on trips like camping and hiking.
SSA: What is the weirdest thing you ate outdoors?
The weirdest thing I have eaten outdoors were Kebabs I made by myself.
SSA: What was the toughest challenge at Cubs?
My toughest challenge was when I had to do my leaping wolf badge. That was a tough one!
SSA: What was the most amazing place you visited with Cubs?
The most amazing place was when we went to the Castle of Good Hope with the Cubs.
SSA: Can you name a few things you have learnt by being a Cub?
I learnt discipline, how to tie knots, how to make a shelter and make a mini stove using tin and wire.
SSA: What things have you done with Cubs to help people in your community?
We cleaned the environment by picking up litter at the beach and we planted crops.
SSA: What did you teach your mum that you learned at Cubs?
I taught my mum how to tie knots and how to make a buddy burner.
SSA: What makes a good Akela?
A good Akela is someone who is willing to care about others and looks after them. A good Akela also teaches children and is someone who is willing to spend their personal time with us.
SSA: Why is your Akela special?
My Akela is special because she is helpful, kind, caring, loving and fun.
Cubbing Rocks because … I get to make new friends, go on camps and trips and we do fun activities.
