“The Upton Shield is a hiking competition for junior Scouts who are under the age 14 ½. Scouts hiked 6.7km from the old Hawequas Forest Station to the Hawequas Scout Adventure Centre. Congratulations to 2nd Hout Bay for winning the Upton Shield. 2nd Somerset West was second and 2nd Fish Hoek was third. Well done to these three teams along with all the other Scouts who all completed the hike.”
