The Gordon Shield was held this past weekend at Hawequas. It took the form of a Regional standing camp competition where Patrols of 8 Scouts camp under canvas, built gadgets and carried out other activities which were evaluated. Saturday was a beautiful day whereas Sunday was more challenging with lots of rain. Well done to all the Scouts who participated and braved the elements. Congratulations to 1st Claremont who won the Gordon Shield, 6th Rondebosch who came second and 2nd Bergvliet who came third.
