From the 15th to 25th April 2023 the Kenya Scouts Association is hosting the first ever African Rover Moot. The moot is expected to draw over 2 500 Rovers from across the world and is sure to create once-in-a-lifetime memories for all who attend.
The only question now is “Are YOU joining the SCOUTS South Africa contingent on this epic adventure?”
The 10 day programme will include…
- Expeditions – Discover Kenya’s tropical forests and rocky mountains.
- Tours – To some of Kenya’s famous landmarks and to it’s beautiful communities.
- Community Service – Leave a permanent legacy from your visit.
- Recreational Activities – Games, Sport, Music and more.
- Cultural Evenings – Food, Dance and social activities with Rovers from across the globe.
The estimated cost is R20 000, but every effort is being made to reduce the cost through sponsorship.
For more information on the 1st Africa Rover Moot click here.
If you don’t want to miss the opportunity, fill in the Expression of Interest form by Friday 21 October.
Who can join?
- Moot participants must have been born between 15 April 1997 and 15 April 2005.
- If you are older than 26 you would be a welcomed member of the International Service Team, so please still complete the EOI form,
As mentioned we are looking at every avenue to sponsor Rovers to attend the Moot so do not let the cost deter you from completing the Expression of Interest form.
