On 26 October, the 105th Edward Shield Competition took place at the 1st Monte Vista Scout Hall, and it was an incredible display of Cub skills and teamwork!
Cubs competed in various challenges, from knotting and compass navigation to first aid scenarios and more. Their determination and skill impressed the judges at every turn.
1st Muizenberg won the competition—their first Edward Shield in 88 years since they jointly won the 1936 event together with 1st Claremont.
A huge thank you to all the judges who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event a success. And, of course, congratulations to every single Cub who took part—you all truly outdid yourselves!
