The Tonkin Trophy is awarded annually to the “top” or “best” Group in the Western Cape Region.   It is a measure of the success of a Group and it rewards meeting challenges, service, Star Awards, success in competitions and adult training, amongst others, between 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.

The Tonkin Trophy results were announced at the Founder’s Day ceremony held on 23 February 2025.

1st Durbanville retained the Tonkin Trophy for 2024, having previously won it for both 2022 and 2023.
