The Rayner Trophy was held in the Du Toitskloof mountains. The route took Scouts from the top of Du Toitskloof pass – the Suurvlakte – Krom River hut – Cascades – A ridge – old tunnel. 21 teams took part. Congratulations to all those Scouts and judges who completed the hike (100% success rate) with a 620m loss in altitude on the final day. A special congratulations to 1st Pinelands – 1st, 1st Bergvliet – 2nd and 6th Rondebosch – 3rd. Many thanks to our Chief Judge being Conrad Thomas for organizing the competition.
