The 26th Australian Scout Jamboree will be a whirlwind of thrilling experiences, unforgettable connections, and a platform to unlock your full potential. This is your chance to be a part of an event like no other, where exploration, and fun, reign supreme!
Every four years, more than ten thousand Scouts from right across Australia and the world meet together for an unforgettable ten day camp full of incredible activities, new challenges and endless opportunities to make friends for life.
Scouts Queensland will host the Australian Jamboree 2025 from 6-15 January 2025 at the Maryborough Showgrounds and Equestrian Park.
Who can attend?
- Scouts who are current registered Scout Members on Scouts Digital at the time of the event.
- Must be 15 years old, before 1st December 2024, hold the Discoverer Advancement.
- Participation must be endorsed by Troop Scouter or Scout Group Leader
- Participation subject to interview.
The youth will be accompanied by a Contingent Management Team (CMT), which are a group of adults who manage and run all aspects of each Contingent. They are your main point of contact for the Jamboree.
Cost?
Estimated cost is R50 000, which would include flights, gear, visa, & Jamboree fees.

A pre-or post tour has not yet been included so this might alter the price. Depending on interest, a CMT would be appointed and communications will go out to members whom have shown interest in attending.
What to expect?
Scouts will have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of activities, such as rock climbing, abseiling, water activities, archery, much more. They will also have the chance to learn new skills, from cooking to first aid, and participate in cultural exchange activities with Scouts from around the world.
Events such as these are the prefect place for Scouts to partake in adventurous challenges and events designed to promote personal growth, community involvement, and leadership skills.
