Based on a recent communication survey the Western Cape Region will be trialing a WhatsApp Channel for the Region. In order to sign up to the channel you can: Search for it, scan the QR Code attached, or CLICK HERE.Perks of a WhatsApp Channel:
- You do not need to download ANOTHER app
- Channels appear in a separate tab, so you can choose to look at them when you want
- Your profile information and interactions with channel content like emoji reactions or poll votes aren’t visible to other followers of the channel. They can’t see your name, phone number, or profile picture which means greater privacy than a group
- The Channel Admins are limited to Regional Leadership and they are the only ones that can post

All content submissions must be sent to your relevant RTC as they will then ensure it goes out if necessary.
